Almost 150 years to the day Breckenridge first came to life as a mining town. All the stops will be pulled out to make this weekend a truly Grand Celebration. Start the day at the 100-year-old Summit County Courthouse with a special community ceremony. During the ceremony, County and Town officials will extract and unveil the building’s cornerstone time capsule and contents, which were put in place by the Masons on July 31st, 1909. Enjoy music by the Breckenridge Music Festival and see the new time capsule contents on display.
